Inspired by the graphic art of a 1960s British sixpence and the designer's Scottish heritage, this scarf enlarges its thistle and coin details across a generous 36" square. What once fit in the palm of a hand becomes an expressive piece of wearable artwork.

The oversized coin nearly fills the square, while hand-knotted fringe on all four sides brings texture and movement. Fold it close to reveal fragments of the artwork, or drape it open to show the whole design.
